Alanya Castle

Alanya castle, which was built on a peninsula in Alanya district of Antalya, attracts attention with its 6.5 km walls. The castle, which took its final shape during the Seljuk Period, has 83 towers and 140 bastions.

The period when the castle was built dates back to the 2nd century BC. Some of the cisterns built inside the walls to meet the water needs of the period are still in use today.
